This Italian cornmeal cookies are the traditional paste di meliga cookies that are traditionally from the region of Piedmont, in Italy. They are made by Primo Pan, a producer from the small village of Battifollo in the mountainous area on the Cuneo side of the Ligurian Alps. This Italian cornmeal cookies are made with top-quality ingredients such as plain wheat flour, fresh eggs, honey, coarse cane sugar, wholegrain stone-ground corn flour and butter.
Nonna Box suggests enjoying these cookies in the morning with your latte, or with your favorite hot drink. They also pair perfectly with the Zabajone Moscato Cream!
